with children from SOS Children’s Village, Faridabad. Attended by 20 children over 4 days at ARTS Glacerhi Centre. We did a nature walk with the Asola Bhatti Butterfly park and learnt to grow vegetables and flowers using the method of urban farmers, starting with companion planting.
Nature and Art workshop aimed to inculcate a holistic inquiry about the environment that we live in. Urban farming experts facilitated the learning modules, and it ran on donations from farmers and institutions who want children to learn this extremely necessary skill to grow their own food, and understand nutrition, growth and nature. Music and Art was also the mediums of inspection and introspection.
